I was reading Diego, the autobiography of Diego Maradona. During Italia 90, Maradona says Italy were given undue advantages as the host nation and the Italian media although never fair, were totally biased against Argentina. It was very nice to see Argentina play Venezuela yesterday at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkatta. Although the game never rose to any heights there were occasional glimpses of Messi's genius. For me, as a lifelong Argentine soccer fan there is no better footballing lesson you would get than the one in the match between Argentina vs Italy in Italia 90 World Cup.
